LARGE RANGE OF STANDARD SIZES & FINISHES
Canopy gearing is the most common type of garage door available with a large choice of panels, offering excellent value for money. A spring above the door provides the tension needed to help the door open and close, allowing around one third of the door to protrude from the front of the garage when open, giving it a "canopy" effect. As all fixings are made to the frame, an up and over canopy door is very quick to install thus keeping the cost low.
ADD SOME AUTOMATION
Retractable doors have springs at the side, and the door retracts backwards into the garage on horizontal runners suspended from the ceiling or the side walls.
With the full range of designs and colours available, as on the canopy doors. The upgrade to the retractable increases long term reliability and very popular with those that wish the option of automation, this can be done at automation or in the future.
Up and Over garage doors can come unframed (ready to fit to an existing timber frame) or fitted with a steel frame direct from the manufacturers. Although there is a cost increase for the steel frame it is recommended, with no maintenance required, it will last the lifetime of the door.
